Mailvelope (PGP)

Encrypted e-mail in Group Office — with keys only you hold.

Encrypt with one tick in the menu of the e-mail composer
Description

End-to-end encryption at the tick of a box

The module connects the Mailvelope browser extension to the Group Office e-mail module. One checkbox in the composer encrypts and signs the message with PGP, and incoming PGP mail is decrypted in the preview and the popup view. Keys, passphrases and plain text stay in the browser and never reach the server. The module ships no Mailvelope code and does not touch the Group Office core.

PGP encryption and signing right in the e-mail composer
Decryption while reading in the preview and popup, including attachments
Reply and forward switch encryption on automatically
Sending only with encrypted text; missing recipient keys are named
No drafts in PGP mode — no plain text lands on the server
Interface in eight languages, no server-side setup needed
